Business Development Associate

  Contract — Full Time

  Location — Ibadan, Oyo State

Our Business Development team is hiring a Business Development Associate to create new retailer/stores partnerships across Ibadan.
In this role, you will have responsibilities including, but not limited to, identifying key potential retailers (stores), creating relationships within the potential retailer/partner organisation, explaining key benefits of Chotcut and formalising the partnerships.


About The Job
  • Identify, contact and establish relationships with key retailers and their decision makers.
  • Negotiate, sign and onboard partners with Chotcut.
  • Establish understanding of Chotcut's business operations - internal processes, organisational strategies and competitive context.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to accomplish needed goals.
  • Facilitate seamless partnership transition from sales process to onboarding with other functional team.
  • Establish content, processes and reporting to help accelerate team goals.
  • Engage, educate, collaborate and sole problem with partners.

  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to listen and adapt to different audiences.
  • Comfort with ambiguity and a rapidly evolving business landscape.
  • Stakeholder management skills both for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Quick communication response times.
